YouTuber Harsha Sai Booked In Betting Promotion Case
Telangana government and home department has now started to go extremely hard against social media influencers who are promoting betting apps and gambling culture. Firebrand IPS office Sajjanar has been commissioned for this responsibility and he is rightly taking strong action in this regard.
Recently, it was popular travel blogger Bayya Sunny Yadav who was booked by Suryapet police for promoting betting apps on his social media accounts. The police made it very clear that they wouldn’t tolerate any sort of social media influencing towards betting culture while booking the case against him.
Now, Sajjanar has announced that a case has been filed against another popular YouTuber Harsha Sai.
I’m not just up against selective individuals—we, as a society, are battling an entire ecosystem of social media influencers who thrive on promoting betting apps. Whether they have millions of followers or just a few thousand, anyone endorsing these destructive platforms is not just misleading people but actively ruining lives.
The real danger goes beyond financial loss—it is the gradual erosion of our nation’s future. While Indian talent is leading global corporations, many young lives are being trapped and derailed by their own countrymen. These apps are not just a personal risk; they are a societal and economic menace, exploiting vulnerabilities and tearing families apart, Sajjanar wrote as he announced that a case has been filed against Harsha Sai.
Harsha had also allegedly shared betting related content on his social media accounts and this led to the police action now. Notably, he was earlier under the police radar for cheating a girl, and now, he is again at it for betting promotions.
