The World Health Organization approved the Chinese-manufactured COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use on Friday, making it the sixth vaccine to receive WHO validation in response to the global pandemic. The Sinopharm jab is the first Chinese vaccine to receive WHO emergency use approval.
