The massive fire at the game zone of an amusement park in Gujarat’s Rajkot last week, which claimed 27 lives, seems to have been started by sparks from a welding machine that landed on “piles” of inflammable material stored at the facility. A massive fire ravaged ‘TRP’ — an amusement and theme park — on the evening of May 25, killing 27 persons, including children, when it was bustling with people enjoying a summer vacation outing.
A CCTV footage of the incident has emerged which shows that the fire started while welding work was underway on the gaming zone’s premises.
