Under-19 WC: India Defeats Pak In Semis
India has cruised into the finals of ICC Under-19 World Cup as they defeated arch-rivals Pakistan in the semi-finals by 10 wickets at Potchefstroom, South Africa.
Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. India struck Pakistan in the second over of the match and then kept taking wickets at regular intervals. Pak opener Haider Ali along with captain Rohail Nazir resisted Indian bowlers with fifties for a while but did not last long. In the end, Pakistan were bowled out for 172 runs in the 44th over.
In reply, India batted quite strongly. Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Divyansh Saxena took on Pak bowlers and hammered them to the every corner of the ground. Jaiswal scored a match winning century and finished off the game in style.
India will play either New Zealand or Bangladesh in the finals.
