Telugu Student Deepthi Seriously Injured In Hit&Run In US

Deepthi Vangavolu, a student from the Telugu states is battling for her life as she met with an accident in Denton city of Texas in the USA. Reportedly, it was a hit-and-run case and the local authorities are busy with the investigation.

Along with Deepthi, another woman sustained non-lethal injuries and is being treated in a hospital. The accident took place on April 12th, at 2.12 AM when Deepthi Vangavolu and her friend who were about to reach home on foot, were hit by an unidentified vehicle.

As per the reports, Deepthi sustained a deep head injury, while the other woman sustained grievous injuries and was being operated upon. According the Linkedin profile of Deepthi Vangavolu, she is pursuing the masters in Computer and Information Science in the University of North Texas and completed her B Tech from Narasaropeta Engineering College in March 2023.

Witnesses reported that a dark-colored sedan struck two female pedestrians in the roadway and did not stop. The vehicle was last seen driving north on N. Baonnie Brae Street.
