Shankar’s important update on 2.o

Director Shankar has given an important update on Rajinikanth’s 2.0, which is currently nearing the final stages of shooting. The science-fiction action film is tipped to be made at a whopping budget of Rs. 450 crores and is one of the most expected films of this year.

“With my team after finishing a major scene of #2.0. One song and some patch works are only the balance,” tweeted Shankar on his Twitter page.

Starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, 2.o is being produced byLyca Productions. A. R. Rahman is composing the tunes for the project, which will be released in 3D format in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously on October 18th for Diwali.
