Maha Kumbh 2025: VD Takes Holy Dip with Mother

Vijay Deverakonda made a spiritual visit to Prayagraj, taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during the ongoing Mahakumbh festivities. A photo of the actor with his mother, Madhavi, has now gone viral, showing them offering prayers with folded hands. Dressed in a saffron dhoti, wearing rudraksha malas, and going shirtless, Vijay was seen standing in the sacred waters with his head bowed in prayer. His mother, Madhavi, stood beside him in an orange salwar suit, also offering prayers.

Another picture captured Vijay wearing a face mask and a towel wrapped around his torso as he made his way out of the Sangam. Vijay joins the list of South Indian celebrities visiting the Mahakumbh, following Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, who also made the pilgrimage recently.

On the professional front, Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for the much-anticipated VD12, tentatively titled Saamrajyam, which is set to release this year.
