Lokesh As DCM: Pithapuram Varma Explains

Over the last few days, there has been a growing debate about the future leader of Telugu Desam Nara Lokesh, getting promoted as the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. This narrative is gaining strength day by day, and it has now reached a point where leaders are openly acknowledging the same. 

Incidentally, Pithapuram ex MLA SVSN Varma who played a crucial role in the recent win of Pawan Kalyan in this constituency has also strengthened this narrative now. 

In his latest interaction with media, Varma noted that there’s nothing wrong in TDP cadres pushing their cause to have Lokesh as the deputy CM.

“When Jagan came to Pithapuram a month after losing the election(during floods), his supporters kept shouting CM CM. That’s the admiration of those supporters for their leader. Same way, TDP cadres are bound to have their aspirations. What’s wrong in our supporters wanting to have Lokesh as deputy CM? He is really worthy of it. At the same time, there’s also a narrative from JSP fans to see Kalyan garu as CM” Varma explained. 

Varma was very composed with his argument and he did certainly have a strong point to make. He meticulously explained the wishes of the cadres and reflected the opinion of the TDP activist group.
