Infuriated by the Centre’s denial, despite its earlier promises of finding a solution, TDP MP CM Ramesh, has announced a fast-unto-death if the Kadapa steel plant wasn’t set up as promised during the bifurcation of Telangana and AP.
The hunger strike by M Ravindranath Reddy and CM Ramesh has now entered day 7, is getting immense support from not just other TDP leaders but also from students of AP
DMK MP Kanimozhi met TDP MP CM Ramesh in Kadapa, earlier today. He is on an indefinite hunger strike demanding the Centre to set up an integrated steel plant in Kadapa district as promised in AP Reorganisation Act.
CM Ramesh said We won’t stop our protest until we get what we were promised, Keep support us in our fight against undemocratic union govt.
Schedule XIII of the AP Reorganization Act says the feasibility of the plant was to be completed in 6 months. After 4 years we only see false promises and fake tears for Rayalaseema.
