Industrialist and philanthropist Anand Mahindra, who also chairs the Board of Naandi Foundation, thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his unwavering support and encouragement to the Foundation, which is aimed at eradicating poverty and improving the quality of life, the unprivileged in particular.
Taking to X, Mahindra applauded Naidu for his perfect business ideas that create a long lasting impact.
He was responding to Naidu’s idea of incorporating design elements that could celebrate the tribal roots of Araku Coffee, which opened a new cafe in the heart of Paris.
Mahindra said that Naidu would be pleased to hear that every Araku Cafe has the map of the coffee growing region — terroir-wise- depicted.
The first Araku cafe was opened in Bengaluru’s Indira Naagr. Recently, Araku Coffee was also made available at the Parliament, exclusively for the Parliamentarians where they can take sip of the refreshing coffee from the lush green Araku valley and rejuvenate their spirits.
The coffee from the remote Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh travelled out of the confines of the valley with the visit of developmental economist Manoj Kumar, to foster a sustainable livelihood in a rural, naxal-hit region with his NGO Naandi Foundation.
In the post on X, Anand Mahindra also mentioned that @manoj_naandi has ensured that the Paris Cafes have an electronic screen that continuously loops films/images of Araku tribal life.
The packaging of the coffee has also been artistically designed as a dynamic leaf motif, inspired by the colourful attire of the tribals as well as the varied colours of India.
Naidu has always been an able administrator and proving his prowess yet again, the CM is trying to make AP appear on the global radar on various fronts like artificial intelligence, drone manufacturing apart from products from natural resources like coffee and others.
