To progress in education, just as the nation is progressing in technology, the Telangana Department of Education has made new announcements regarding new changes in government schools. The AI courses are to be introduced in all state government schools.
The objective is to impart quality education and technical education to the students. The government has decided to implement AI education in 13 government schools in Nagarkurnool and Karimnagar districts on a pilot basis. The district education department has chosen 13 government schools in 10 mandals of the district for the pilot project.
1183 students from classes 1 to 5 are learning in these schools. The students will be taught AI in batches of five. The government has arranged for giving AI education to the students. Computers, headphones, and internet facilities have been arranged in the chosen schools.
The AI program will recognize the learning style of every student and suitably offer education. If the pilot program turns out to be successful, then the government has planned to extend AI education to additional schools within the district. The government hopes to offer good education and technical education to the students, particularly the slow-learning ones.
This step is likely to enhance the academic performance of students, particularly those who are lagging behind their counterparts. The attempts of the government to implement AI education in state schools are in the right direction, and it will be interesting to observe how this move fares in the next few months.
