Mohan Babu celebrates his 50th year as an actor

Mohan Babu, known for his versatility and imposing screen presence, has entered the 50th year of his acting career.

He first gained prominence with “Swargam Narakam” and gained popularity as an actor in the 1980s by portraying negative roles.

In the 1990s, he achieved success as the lead hero in a series of films such as Alludugaru, Assembly Rowdy, and Pedarayudu. He acted in more than 500 films.

In 1992, he established the Sree Vidyaniketan Educational Trust, offering quality and affordable education to thousands of students. Throughout his illustrious career, Mohan Babu has received numerous accolades, including the Padma Shri (2007).

He recently played a key role in his son Manchu Vishnu’s “Kannappa,” scheduled for 2025 summer release.
