The makers of Saalar have preferred a safe and sound approach. The film will release grandly in summer 2022 on April 14th, 2022. It, therefore, avoids a clash with Sankranthi 2022 movies, as speculated. Salaar is a stunning combination that brings two pan-India names together – Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. To then bring the film in a triangular clash would be a wasted potential at the box office. It will be the case even if Salaar turns out to be the winner. April 14th, 2022, release Salaar, a solo all India release across the languages. It is also a National Holiday (BR Ambedkar Jayanthi). There could be a Tamil film due to the Tamil New Year Holiday, but when the rest are solo, it shouldn’t be a big problem.
