COVID 19: Europe records 1,15,236 deaths, 67 per cent of global fatalities

Paris: The coronavirus pandemic has killed more than 1,15,236 people in Europe, around 85 percent of them in Italy, Spain, France and Britain, according to a tally compiled a news agency at 1100 GMT Friday from official sources.With a total of 1,47,440 deaths, Europe is the continent hardest hit by COVID-19.Italy, with 21,667 deaths and Spain, with 18,856 are the two worst-hit countries in terms of fatalities. France has recorded 1,7293 deaths and Britain 9,813.
