Trump’s India’s Visit : Modi Promised 5 to 7 Million Crowd

Now that President Of The Unite States (POTUS) Donald Trump and First Lady Of The United States (FLOTUS) Melania Trump are all set to visit India on Feb 24th and Feb 25th, all eyes are on their much anticipated visit to Ahmedabad and New Delhi and Trump’s meeting with PM Modi.

Going into details, Donald Trump and Narendra Modi had a phone call past weekend during which the two leaders agreed to meet and the former’s visit to India is confirmed. Interestingly, President Trump further revealed that PM Modi has promised him that over 5 to 7 million people would attend the event in Ahmedabad. PM Modi is said to be planning for a grand roadshow welcoming US President Donald Trump from Ahmedabad airport to the newly built cricket stadium which would be inaugurated by Trump with Narendra Modi. This is going to be Modi’s return gift to Donald Trump for the Howdy Modi event in Houston, Texas in September 2019.

“I am (going to India). He (PM Modi) said we will have millions and millions of people. He thinks we will have 5-7 million people just from the airport to the new stadium,” said Donald Trump, while talking to the media about his upcoming tour. “When we have 50,000 people, I’m not going to feel so good. We’ll have five to seven million people just from the airport to the new stadium. And you know it is the largest stadium in the world. (They are) building it now. It’s almost complete and it’s the largest in the world,” Donald Trump said. He added, “I look forward to going to India.”
