Nandamuri Balakrishna’s younger son-in-law Sri Bharat, grandson of late MVVS Murthy of Gitam University, is going to contest from Vizag Lok Sabha on TDP ticket. TDP MLA candidates have convened for an internal meeting at Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s residence in Vizag where all the MLA candidates in unison have come forward to support the candidature of Sri Bharat. With the approval of MLA candidates, it is almost confirmed that the party would proceed with the candidature of Sri Bharat.
Bharat will be pitted opposite film producer – realtor MVV Satyanarayana of YSRCP in Vizag Parliament constituency. Back in 2014, with the full support of TDP, BJP’s candidate Kambhampati Hari Babu had won against YCP’s YS Vijayamma. TDP is now confident of winning the seat on its own.
While Balayya’s first son-in-law Nara Lokesh is already a minister in Naidu’s cabinet and is going to contest from Mangalagiri Assembly, his second son-in-law Bharat (husband of Nandamuri Tejeswini) will now be in the fray for Lok Sabha polls. Sribharat had worked in the USA before moving to Vizag to take up the responsibility of family businesses.
